Arkansas Faith Caucus
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Arkansas Faith Caucus is formed for the purposes of educating people about the role of religion in political life.
The Arkansas Faith Caucus is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes. This includes such purposes as making distributions to organizations that qualify as a tax-exempt organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service for non-profits.
The core values of the Arkansas Faith Caucus include the following:
Our message addresses the need to solve hunger and repressive poverty issues and the resolve to improve the quality of life for all people. As persons of faith, we believe in doing what is right, caring for people who need help, being good stewards of God’s Creation, and upholding other Biblically-based directives. The tenets of Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths hold that each of us “must be concerned about the well-being of our neighbors.” The Arkansas Faith Caucus’ goal is to share how “Our Faith Informs Our Values as Democrats.”
