The meeting will be held in Upper Witherspoon from 10:00 a.m. – noon. Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the Caucus and our support of Democratic candidates. Events We participate and attend Democratic Party of Arkansas fundraising events to elect Democratic officials. Training Last year, the Arkansas Faith Caucus conducted listening sessions around the state to learn from Democrats what they consider as the principal issues facing the Democratic Party of Arkansas. The outcomes of those sessions were compiled into a final report. Based on the results of those sessions, the Arkansas Faith Caucus will be conducting “Faith Informing Values” training in each of the 35 state senate districts in Arkansas. To date, we have conducted two training sessions – in Des Arc and Batesville. It is our goal to complete the training by the end of 2018. As persons of faith, it is important that we share with our neighbors how our faith impacts our values as Democrats. Check back with us for details on upcoming training and events in your area. More information will be posted as soon as dates and locations are confirmed. Also, visit our photo gallery (below) or Facebook page for pictures on these and other Faith Caucus events. |
